Job summary

Assurant in Irving, TX is seeking a production supervision support to train and develop the team on the shop floor. You will monitor performance, enforce work instructions, and coordinate with supervisors to meet customer goals on an onsite DCC.

The role requires 1+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or warehousing and high school diploma; forklift certification is a plus. This schedule runs Friday through Sunday, 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, onsite in Irving.

Qualifications

• 1+ years lead or supervisory experience in manufacturing or warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training and developing the team on the shop floor.
• Monitor production performance and ensure quality controls meet work instructions.
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings with Supervisor.
• Coordinate with supervisors to reallocate resources to meet goals.
• Work with other departments to ensure proper workflow.
• Serve as point of contact for escalations.
• Support attendance tracking for emergencies.
• Assist with 6S audits and implement resulting changes.
• Conduct on-the-job refresher training and workstation assessments.
• Monitor inventory levels and KPI/SLA performance; report issues.
