Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a Specialist Production Planning (Material Planner) to join our Scheduling & Material Planning Center of Excellence at our Canoga Park, CA facility. The Specialist will organize and coordinate the work of individuals and project teams, managing all aspects of assigned projects in one or more operations that support production activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 8+ years production/material planning experience if no degree.
• Minimum 4 years of production/material planning experience with strong analytical skills.
• Graduate Degree requires 2 years of relevant planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and control material for production programs.
• Issue material in alignment with program requirements and shop capacity.
• Monitor item creation, MBOM management, and demand management.
• Manage inventory, material issues, and use MRP to flag shortages.
• Perform system transactions and analyze shrinkage or material excess.
