Our client, a leading industrial organization, is seeking a Material Planning Specialist to join their team. As a Material Planning Specialist, you will be part of the Stationary division supporting materials control and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, organized and self-motivated work habits, and the ability to communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment.

What's the Job?
- Inspect, count, label, and locate items received into stocking locations and items distributed from stocking locations.
- Support accurate inventory records by entering inventory transactions or providing data and source documents for timely data entry by others.
- Pick, inspect, count, label, package, and ship items routed from stocking locations while ensuring accuracy and undamaged delivery condition.
- Load and unload freight from trucks, trailers, and containers using forklifts and pallet jacks; distribute parts and materials to the appropriate teams.
- Participate in the Cycle Count Program by verifying inventory data, investigating discrepancies, and reporting findings to the Materials Control Supervisor or designated individual.
What's Needed?
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to follow instructions from senior coordinators verbally, by computer, or in writing.
- Strong attention to detail, organized approach, and self-motivation to maintain accuracy in inventory and shipping tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change daily.
- Experience with inventory control or ERP software; ERP LX or BPCS is desired.
- Understanding of warehouse and inventory control principles, along with excellent customer service skills and teamwork mindset.
