Job summary

SMS InfoComm Corporation seeks a Material Planner Assistant to create manufacturer orders and transfer tickets for manufacturing operations. You will work with Production Control to set sequencing and priority in Grapevine, TX, ensuring timely production schedules.

The role includes reviewing vendor invoices before payment, resolving PO/SO/invoice discrepancies with the Buying team, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment while supporting a positive work culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or supply chain management.
• Minimum of two years of related experience in manufacturing operations, SIOP, sourcing and material management.
• Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office tools; strong data analysis skills.
• Experience with ERP and forecasting systems.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and establish positive internal relationships.

Responsibilities

• Create manufacturer orders and transfer tickets for each manufacturing operation.
• Coordinate with Production Control to determine sequencing and priority of operations.
• Review and validate invoices from vendors before bringing them to Finance.
• Work with Buying to resolve discrepancies on PO/SO/Invoices.
• Maintain a positive, organized warehouse environment and safe work practices.
