Job summary

SMS InfoComm Corporation seeks a Material Planner Assistant to create manufacturer orders and transfer tickets for manufacturing operations. You will work with Production Control to set sequencing and priority in Grapevine, TX, ensuring timely production schedules.

The role includes reviewing vendor invoices before payment, resolving PO/SO/invoice discrepancies with the Buying team, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment while supporting a positive work culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or supply chain management.
• Minimum of two years of related experience in manufacturing operations, SIOP, sourcing and material management.
• Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office tools; strong data analysis skills.
• Experience with ERP and forecasting systems.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and establish positive internal relationships.

SummaryMaterial Planner Assistant responsibilities include creating and tracking manufacturer orders based on material planner/analysts requests. Position works with warehouse team to prioritize and complete the escalated customer backorders. Responsibilities include reviewing and resolved invoice discrepancies before payment is scheduled.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
