Job summary

SMS InfoComm Corporation is seeking a Material Planner Assistant to create manufacturer orders and track them from requests. You'll collaborate with the warehouse team to prioritize backorders and ensure timely escalation handling with finance and procurement.

The role requires a Bachelor's in business administration or supply chain management and at least two years of related manufacturing operations experience, with strong data analysis and ERP/forecasting system skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in business administration or supply chain management.
• Minimum of two years of related experience in manufacturing operations, SIOP, sourcing and material management.

Responsibilities

• Create manufacturer orders and transfer tickets for each manufacturing operation.
• Meet with Production Control to determine sequencing and priority of operations.
• Review and validate invoices from vendors before bringing them to Finance.
• Work with Buying team to resolve discrepancies on PO/SO/Invoices.
• Maintain a positive work environment and support warehouse organization.
