Job summary

LARSON CANDO INC in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Material Planner to manage accuracy, status reporting and fulfillment of all material and repairs for production projects. You will act as an integral part of the PMO/Planning office, tracking material requirements, internal repairs and vendor repairs to keep projects on schedule.

You will develop forecasts, maintain min stock levels for common materials, and work to optimize purchasing through bulk buying while adhering to LCI guidelines and

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass drug test/background check – we are a drug free work place!
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently when required.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, weekends, and overtime as might be required, but usually through normal day shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Routinely audit material requisition and fulfillment processes to ensure a smooth and on schedule delivery on material to active production projects
• Coordinate with production, inspection, purchasing and vendor administration for requirements and status on pending material requirements and orders
• As a part of the PMO/Planning team, provide current status of material and fulfilment as a part of the production planning effort
• Develop a forecast of material fulfilment as it applies to varies tasks with each project
• Develop and maintain min stock levels for routinely use materials to reduce production delays, improve purchasing efficiency through bulk purchasing and reduced cost
• Contact QA and Customer Service or Purchasing with any discrepancies.
