PROENERGY in Sedalia, MO seeks a Material Planner to own material readiness visibility across assigned scope, surface shortages before they impact the schedule, and coordinate with planners, warehouse, and procurement to keep production on track.

This information-driven role emphasizes proactive escalation, quarterly parameter audits, and collaboration with procurement, inventory control, and suppliers. Experience with ERP systems and MS Excel is required; US work authorization is a must.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years in material planning, material coordination, production planning support, or inventory control in manufacturing.
• Strong Excel proficiency; familiar with BOMs, shop travelers, and pick lists; disciplined record-keeping.
• Hands-on ERP experience in inventory, planning, and procurement modules.
• Clarify requirements with production, supply chain, and supplier contacts; communicate clearly under pressure.
• Must be fluent in English with strong writing and speaking skills.

Responsabilidades

• Own material readiness status for assigned scope and maintain a Ready / At Risk / Short status trusted by planners and leadership.
• Identify constraints before they impact production by reviewing material requirements against the schedule.
• Maintain shortage lists with receipts, owners, and actions; drive items to closure through defined escalation.
• Coordinate readiness by directing warehouse, kitting, and material coordinators to ensure timely material availability.
• Chase status with procurement and suppliers for outstanding or delayed material; feed confirmed dates back to readiness picture.
• Audit planning parameters quarterly; review lead times, order quantities, and safety stock signals with procurement and inventory control.
• Support recovery and pull-ahead during schedule recovery by identifying actionable material constraints.
• Represent material readiness in daily production planning meetings with risks and recovery actions.
• Capture recurring shortage causes and feed to production planning for prevention.
• Support D365 ERP implementation including validation during testing and cutover.
