Job summary

Position Overview

Planner / Supplier Order Management Specialist is a key member of the Order Management team and manages the critical and complex suppliers to ensure on time delivery of open purchase orders to support production demand.

What your day-to-day may look like

• Ensure continuous supply of materials and address any supply issues that may impact business operations.
• Analyze purchase requisitions for accuracy and completeness. Expedite the approval process for urgent orders.
• Review replenishment reports daily. Resolve price, delivery, or invoice issues with suppliers.
• Collaborate with various departments to address demand requirements. Lead purchasing activities with manufacturing, planning, sourcing, and engineering to solve material supply issues.
• Communicate between departments to allocate excess materials to projects. Ensure compliance with company guidelines, purchasing policies, and procedures.

To thrive in this role, you will have

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (business, manufacturing, or engineering) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of procurement or supply chain management experience in a manufacturing environment, with experience managing supply chains with sole suppliers.
• Proficient in SAP and highly proficient in MS Excel; well-versed in other MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience in an engineer-to-order manufacturing environment.

• Keen attention to detail and accuracy, with experience in ISO 9000 (TS16949 and AS9100 a plus).

The pay range for this position is $73,338.00 - $86,190.00 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
