Job summary

Eaton's Westminster, MD facility seeks a Material Operations Supervisor to lead receiving, stockroom, kitting, and shipping, ensuring the right material is at the right place to support the production schedule.

The role manages a team of material handlers, drives inventory accuracy, and partners with Supply Chain, Production, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering to improve safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in materials management, warehouse/stockroom, logistics, or manufacturing operations OR 5 years with a high school diploma.
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.
• ITAR restrictions require U.S. persons; sponsorship not offered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily material operations across receiving, stockroom, kitting, and shipping to support the production schedule.
• Supervise and develop a team of material handlers and coordinators, including staffing, training, and performance management.
• Own inventory accuracy; manage cycle counts; drive root-cause analyses of variances in ERP.
• Ensure material is kitted and staged; expediting critical material with Supply Chain to prevent line stoppages.
