Job summary

PIH Health Downey Hospital is seeking a Receiver/Expediter to support the organized flow of materials from receiving to inventory and to requesting departments. You will work under the Central Distribution Supervisor and Supply Chain Management Team to ensure accurate, timely delivery of supplies within the hospital network.

Ideal candidates will have a valid California driver’s license, forklift certification, and experience in a hospital/medical supply environment.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs repetitively and operate in a warehouse environment.
• Certified in forklift/material handling equipment.
• Clerical aptitude for manual filing and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and executing duties to ensure flow of materials to inventory and requesting departments under supervision.
• Support distribution operations under the direction of the Central Distribution Supervisor and Supply Chain Management Team.

Receiver/Expediter will assist in the organization and execution of duties, functions, activities, and responsibilities which shall encompass the accurate and uninterrupted flow of materials to inventory to requesting departments under the direction of the Central Distribution Supervisor and Supply Chain Management Team.
