Job summary

PIH Health Downey is seeking a Receiver/Expediter to support the organization and execution of duties ensuring the smooth flow of materials to inventory and requesting departments under supervision.

Responsibilities include lifting up to 50 lbs, forklift certification, clerical data entry, and familiarity with Material Management Inventory Systems to support warehouse operations and customer service within a hospital supply chain.

Qualifications

Receiver/Expediter will assist in the organization and execution of duties, functions, activities, and responsibilities which shall encompass the accurate and uninterrupted flow of materials to inventory to requesting departments under the direction of the Central Distribution Supervisor and Supply Chain Management Team.

Required Experience

Required:

• Valid California Driver’s License
• Must obtain and maintain approval by PIH Health insurance carrier to drive hospital vehicle(s).

Preferred:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. preferred.
• Basic Windows and mouse experience preferred.
• Hospital/medical supply receiving/shipping experience preferred.
