Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate degree or completion of automotive service technician training preferred.
• ASE or SAE certification preferred.
• Strong customer service and communications skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Use diagnostic tools to evaluate equipment malfunction codes.
• Help establish procedures for tracking repair status and documentation.
• Carry out routine maintenance such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements.
• Inspect all systems including engine, transmission, and brakes.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Convey repair information to customers clearly.
