Job summary

ProLift Toyota Material Handling is seeking an experienced Shop Service Technician to maintain and repair forklifts and material handling equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance while using diagnostic software and documenting work for customers.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, the ability to read schematics, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• 1+ years repairing industrial equipment or similar machinery.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school education preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Experience with diagnostic software preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electric and internal combustion forklifts.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, engine, drivetrain, and electronic systems.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Utilize manufacturer diagnostic software.
• Complete accurate service documentation.
• Recommend repairs to improve uptime and reliability.
• Maintain bay, tools, and inventory.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and represent ProLift professionally.
