Job summary

Federal Express Corporation seeks a Maintenance Technician II to support material handling systems with preventative and predictive maintenance, PCB/PLC control work, and welding/fabrication as needed. The role involves diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, following safety protocols, and coordinating with senior staff.

Candidates should have two years in industrial maintenance or related fields, plus relevant certificates or an associate degree.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years experience in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics with competency in at least two specialty skills in mechanical power transmission, electrical, or PLC/Controls, with basic welding/fabrication skills.
• Related military experience will be considered.
• In lieu of experience, an associate degree in an Industrial Maintenance/electrical/mechanical trade or related certificates or other degrees may be considered equivalent.
• Multiple certificates and degrees may be assessed by manager and HR to determine relevancy to minimum qualifications and experience

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of material handling systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and coordinate with higher-level technicians.
• Follow safety standards and attend trainings.
• Respond to sort calls to diagnose and repair issues.
• Utilize EAM software to enter and retrieve data.
• Assist in smaller scope projects and flexible scheduling.
