Job summary

M3 Engineering & Technology is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer specializing in Material Handling to join our multidisciplinary team. You will design, specify, and procure mechanical equipment and bulk handling systems for industrial facilities, collaborating with process, structural, civil, electrical, and piping engineers to ensure safe and cost-effective solutions.

You will lead small projects as a Project Manager, coordinating scope, schedule, budget, and client communications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience designing industrial material handling systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and 3D design software such as Inventor, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop bulk material handling systems for industrial facilities.
• Prepare equipment layouts and general arrangement drawings.
• Develop equipment specifications and assist with equipment selection and procurement.
• Review vendor drawings and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate equipment interfaces with other disciplines.
• Provide technical support during fabrication, construction, commissioning, and startup.
• Serve as Project Manager on small engineering projects coordinating scope, schedule, budget, client communications, and deliverables.
