Job summary

SPS Companies, Inc. is looking for a Warehouse Specialist to support staging, loading and unloading of products, maintain accurate inventory, and ensure safe, efficient warehouse operations.

The role emphasizes accuracy, traceability, and meeting internal and external customer expectations. You will participate in safety meetings, follow company policies, inspect materials, operate equipment, and collaborate with supervisors and teammates to keep workflows smooth and compliant with ISO 9001:2015

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and measurements.
• Proven experience operating material handling equipment and forklifts.
• Knowledge of safety policies and quality procedures (ISO 9001:2015).
• Strong teamwork, communication and numeric skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer tasks and mobile devices.
• Attention to detail and reliability, with safe work practices.
• Flexibility to work a multi-shift environment and on-call as needed.
• Valid driver's license and clean safety record.

Responsibilities

• Attend all scheduled safety, department, and company meetings as required.
• Staging, loading, and unloading material efficiently.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and material traceability.
• Inspect materials for grade, size and quantity; report discrepancies.
• Follow and enforce safety policies and use equipment safely.
• Scrutinize customer requirements and ensure compliance.
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and yard trucks per guidelines.
• Collaborate with supervisors and teammates in a cooperative, productive manner.
