Job summary

SPI in Texas is seeking a Material Handler to support warehouse operations and ensure accurate, undamaged orders for our customers. The role involves picking orders with RF scanning, moving goods with a forklift or pallet jack, and handling containers and packing materials for transit.

The ideal candidate has 18+ years of age, a forklift certification (or willingness to certify), and prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• If operating a Company Vehicle, a valid driver’s license will be required.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification or willing to be certified.
• RF scanning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders using an RF scanning gun.
• Move product and material using a forklift or pallet jack.
• Open containers using hand tools.
• Manually load and unload materials onto/from pallets, racks, or trucks and secure with strapping or padding.
• Convey materials to or from storage or work sites to designated area using a hand truck or dolly.
• Ensure a clean work area and maintain machines and equipment.
• Participate in periodic safety learning sessions.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.
