Job summary
Winchester Equipment Co. is seeking a Technician for Material Handling (Toyota) equipment to diagnose, repair and maintain complex machinery in the shop. You will prioritize repairs and communicate clearly with customers to ensure timely service.
The role requires interpretation of work orders, reading manuals, and accurate paperwork. Occasional travel for manufacturer training helps maintain up-to-date skills and workflows for efficiency.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical training in material handling equipment repair.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to obtain DMV medical card.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Spanish language skills preferred.
- Experience in the equipment industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair and maintain material handling equipment in the shop.
- Provide quality and timely service to customers by prioritizing repairs and communicating effectively.
- Interpret work orders and technical manuals.
- Complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain and optimize workflows to improve efficiency.
- Travel occasionally for manufacturer training.
