Job summary

AV is seeking a Material Handling Coordinator II to maintain accurate inventory in both office and warehouse settings. You will manage step-by-step operations, update ERP systems, and lead routine material audits to ensure 100% digital alignment with physical stock.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required, plus 1–2 years of inventory experience or equivalent.
  • Foundational understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control procedures.
  • Proficient with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle ERP or similar) and MS Office for tracking inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily tasks following detailed instructions to support the Warehouse Manager.
  • Verify stock physically against system orders using pick lists.
  • Prepare and deliver stock to support active projects as needed.
  • Track ERP and inventory systems to stay aligned with real-time stock levels.
  • Maintain and audit documentation for transfers, variances, and negative stock investigations.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts weekly, quarterly, and yearly.
  • Report stock discrepancies to resolve variances between physical and system data.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Process daily receiving and prepare materials for internal/external needs.
  • Audit inventory stock regularly.

The Material Handling Coordinator II acts as a trusted execution partner, working directly on behalf of management to maintain strict physical and systemic inventory accuracy. Operating in both office and warehouse environments, this role balances daily administrative tasks, system tracking, and manual labor. Key components of the position include executing step-by-step operational instructions, managing ERP software updates, and leading routine material audits.

The ideal candidate brings a blend of foundational inventory control knowledge, technical software proficiency, and a self-motivated, detail-oriented approach to maintaining an organized workplace.

Job Responsibilities
  • Execute daily operational tasks directly on the Warehouse Manager's behalf while following detailed, step-by-step instructions precisely.
  • Pull and verify physical stock items using generated pick lists, confirming material accuracy against system orders before execution or movement.
  • Fulfill internal inventory requisitions by preparing or delivering relevant stock to support active projects flexibly.
  • Manage and track ERP and inventory systems to maintain 100% digital alignment with real-time stock variables and current availability.
  • Generate, review, and maintain documentation for all material transfers, variance reports, audit outcomes, and negative stock investigations.
  • Conduct routine physical inventory counts on weekly, quarterly, and annual schedules to ensure overall warehouse accuracy.
  • Report and reconcile stock discrepancies immediately to the Warehouse Manager, investigating negative stock to resolve physical and system variances.
  • Maintain a clean and efficient workplace while adhering to safe material handling practices and workplace safety compliance.
  • Process daily receiving.
  • Pick and prepare materials for internal and external needs.
  • Audit inventory stock.
Basic Requirements
  • Experience & Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required, alongside 1–2 years of related functional stockroom or inventory experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Inventory & Safety Knowledge: Foundational understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control procedure execution, and physical audit/variance reconciliation practices.
  • Technical & System Skills: Demonstrated computer proficiency, including hands-on experience using MRP/ERP systems (Oracle ERP or similar software preferred) and the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to track and control inventory variables.
  • Professional Competencies: Highly organized and detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to handle deadline-driven priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to constantly navigate both office and warehouse environments, standing, walking, sitting, and using hands to operate computers or handle stock; ability to occasionally lift up to 60 lbs of varying shapes and operate dollies or pallet jacks to load and unload supplies.

The Salary Range For This Role Is

$22 - $33
