AeroVironment is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to provide analytical, specialized, high-level administrative support to relieve executives and managers of complex tasks. The role entails daily administrative duties for a specialized function within the organization.
Responsibilities include scheduling meetings, documenting meetings, coordinating with project leads, handling purchase requisitions, preparing reports, and liaising across departments.

The Sr. Administrative Assistant provides analytical and specialized and high-level administrative support to relieve executive, administrative and line managers of complex details and advanced administrative duties. In this role, one provides daily administrative tasks to support a specialized function(s) of the organization.
Scheduling meetings andcoordinatemeetinglogistics, including luncheons
Documenting technical meetings and follow up on action items/commitments
Working jointly with project leads to ensure proper information and documentation transfer throughout the life of a project
Preparing and tracking Purchase Requisitions
Contacts company personnel at all organizational levels to gather information and prepare reports, whilemaintainingconfidentiality
Coordinates activities between departments and outside parties
Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice
Work with diversegroupof employees toassiston projects as assigned by line managers
Planning company functions and appreciation activities
Overseeing the work of service/supply vendors
Escorting visitors/contractors through the building in compliance with Security policy
Special projects as assigned
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a fast-paced, hands-on, employee facing office environment. Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
High School diploma or GED Equivalent isrequiredor equivalent combination of experience and education
Experienced in researching,organizingand coordinating multiple clerical projects within tight deadlines
Experienced and proficient with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
Previousexperience working in aerospace industry is desired

The salary range for this role is:
$26 - $40
