Job summary

Kelly Services in Farmington, CT is seeking a Creform Cart Builder to assemble, maintain, and repair Creform carts to support production and logistics operations. This full-time, on-site role offers a steady schedule, weekly pay, and a path to potentially permanent placement.

You will load/unload parts, perform quality checks, operate forklifts or cranes if certified, and collaborate with the Production Supervisor to prioritize work.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly, material handling, or warehouse operations is required.
• Familiar with Creform systems or mechanical assembly preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, or similar equipment; certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Work well independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, maintain, and repair Creform carts to support production and logistics.
• Pack and unpack materials related to Creform systems and equipment.
• Load and unload parts and equipment for shipping and receiving, following best practices.
• Perform visual quality checks on all incoming and outgoing materials and equipment.
• Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels for parts and materials.

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $18.00–$19.00/hr | Weekly Pay

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00AM-3:30PM | Full-Time

What’s a typical day as a Creform Cart Builder? You’ll be:

• Assembling, maintaining, and repairing Creform carts to support production and logistics

• Packing and unpacking materials related to Creform systems and equipment

• Loading and unloading parts and equipment for shipping and receiving, following best practices

• Performing visual quality checks on all incoming and outgoing materials and equipment

• Safely operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes

• Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels for parts and materials

• Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on Creform equipment

• Collaborating closely with the Production Supervisor to support workflow priorities

• Working independently with minimal supervision and maintaining productivity

• Keeping your work area clean, organized, and safety-focused

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have previous experience in assembly, material handling, or warehouse operations (required)

• Are familiar with Creform systems or mechanical assembly (preferred)

• Can operate forklifts, cranes, or similar equipment (certification a plus)

• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Work well independently and can manage your time effectively

• Are comfortable with physical work, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
