OBE is seeking a Materials Handler to maintain cleanliness, order, and safety in the department, and to ensure accurate data recording. The position supports production by organizing inventory and assisting with item movement.

The typical schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00am to 4:00pm, with opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to a pay-for-performance culture that recognizes hard work. We value teamwork and safety in every shift.

Qualifications

Summary

The Materials Handler ensures department cleanliness, orderliness, and safety. The Materials Handler ensures the accurate recording of data. The typical schedule for this position is Monday-Thursday 6:00am - 4:00pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Listen and follow the direction of the Production Supervisor, and take guidance from senior team members
• Assist with the physical organization of inventory
• Return inventory items to the proper locations
• Assist materials handlers with picking items required for production

Requirements

• Follow all safety policies & procedures as a prerequisite to employment
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Able to write and do basic math
• Basic computer skills or willing to learn
• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Must be able to work well with others

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand on feet wearing safety bootsfrom 8-10 hours a day
• Ability to lift, carry, twist, walk, and reach constantly, andbend frequently
• Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region (Heat, humidity, etc.)
