Job summary

Graybar in Union City, CA seeks a Warehouse Associate to perform physically demanding tasks in the pipe department and manage inventory using WMS. You will cut wire, lift, load, and prepare orders while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

The role requires experience with WMS processes, ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts, and adherence to safety procedures. Shift is Monday–Friday, 12:00pm–9:00pm, with a starting pay of $28 per hour, plus department and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience with WMS processes and procedures.
• Ability to lift and move inventory up to 70 pounds.
• Operate warehouse equipment per manufacturer instructions.
• Adhere to safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Standing and walking in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Lift and move inventory as required.
• Operate warehouse equipment and large machinery safely.
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse and follow safety procedures.
• Cut wire and cable with machines; ensure accuracy.
• Pack and prepare orders according to type, length, and size.
• Receive, store, and count inventory using WMS processes.
• Prepare UPS and non-UPS orders for shipping; meet carrier schedules.
• Conduct cycle counts and verify bin locations.
