Job summary

Hansen Pole Buildings LLC is seeking a Material Handler to join our team in Browns Valley, MN. This full-time, in-person position involves outdoor yard work, loading/unloading trucks, and organizing lumber while following safety procedures. You’ll operate forklifts, cut and label lumber, and verify dimensions.

No experience required; on-site with competitive pay. Schedule: Mon–Fri 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; benefits include 401(k) matching, health, dental, vision, PTO.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Pull lumber, label bunks, and band for shipment.
• Load/Offload Trucks.
• Keep the yard organized and clean up scrap material.
• Lift up to 75 lbs and move lumber with basic tools.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers for a productive team.
• Learn and apply safety regulations including PPE.

How you spend your day as a Material Handler/ Warehouse Worker:

• Pulling lumber, label bunks and banding them for shipment.
• Load/Offload Trucks.
• Help keep the yard organized.
• Cleans up work area on a regular basis to avoid stepping on or tripping over scrap material.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Maintains good communications with other coworkers to have a cohesive and productive work team.
• Learns and applies appropriate safety regulations including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Will use forklifts to move and load lumber.
• Utilize hammers and saws to cut and organize lumber.
• Verify dimensions/grade of lumber for accuracy.
• No Experience Required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
