Job summary

Hansen Pole Buildings in West Fargo, ND is seeking a Material Estimator to join our design team. You will review client material lists, adjust drawings, and design trusses using our software.

Work with engineers, provide technical support to clients, and contribute ideas to improve the design process. On-the-job training will get you up to speed on our post-frame building kits. This is a fast-paced role that rewards accuracy and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and update client material lists for accuracy

• Review and make minor revisions to drawings as needed to meet project specifications

• Design trusses using provided software to be built in our truss plant

• Help provide client technical support to their building and plan questions

• Contribute creative ideas and solutions to enhance the overall design process

• Closely collaborate with our design and engineering teams to ensure accurate and efficient project completion

Qualifications:

• Problem solving skills and desire to help answer client questions

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good at multi tasking or ability to prioritize a task list

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Experience in the construction industry or CAD experience is a plus

Training:

Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided for all specific job duties, processes, software, and systems. Previous experience with post-frame construction, material estimating, or truss design is helpful but not required. We will teach you the Hansen Pole Buildings, specific processes and skills needed to be successful in the position.
