Job summary

Hansen Pole Buildings, LLC is seeking a Material Handler to join our team in Browns Valley, MN. This full-time position supports yard operations by pulling lumber, labeling bunks, loading trucks, and keeping the yard organized. You will operate forklifts and hand tools, verify lumber dimensions, and help ensure safe, efficient shipments.

No prior experience required. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, and paid time

Qualifications

• No experience required
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Familiarity with forklifts and hand tools

Responsibilities

• Pull lumber, label bunks and band for shipment
• Load/offload trucks
• Keep yard organized
• Clean work area to avoid trips
• Verify lumber dimensions/grade for accuracy
• Will use forklifts to move lumber
• Utilize hammers and saws to cut and organize lumber
• Apply safety regulations including PPE
• Communicate with coworkers for cohesive team

How you spend your day as a Material Handler/ Warehouse Worker:

• Pulling lumber, label bunks and banding them for shipment.
• Load/Offload Trucks.
• Help keep the yard organized.
• Cleans up work area on a regular basis to avoid stepping on or tripping over scrap material.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Maintains good communications with other coworkers to have a cohesive and productive work team.
• Learns and applies appropriate safety regulations including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Will use forklifts to move and load lumber.
• Utilize hammers and saws to cut and organize lumber.
• Verify dimensions/grade of lumber for accuracy.
• No Experience Required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
