Job summary

Warehouse Services Inc. is seeking a Second Shift Material Handler for our Wilmington, IL facility. The role involves moving, storing, and distributing materials in the warehouse, with frequent lifting up to 55 pounds and operation of forklifts/orders pickers.

You will load/unload trucks and verify shipments against manifests and paperwork. Candidates must pass a pre-employment background check, as well as a drug screen and physical examination.

Responsibilities

• Move, store, and distribute materials safely and efficiently.
• Lift and carry up to 55 pounds regularly.

• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests and documents.
• Complete required paperwork per work instructions.
• Work at heights of 25–30 feet with fall protection equipment as needed.

Second Shift:

Monday- Thursday 5pm- 3:30am - $21.25 /hr

Job Site- Wilmington, IL

Material Handlers are responsible for safely and efficiently moving, storing, and distributing materials throughout the warehouse. Key responsibilities include:

• Frequently lifting, carrying, and moving materials weighing up to 55 pounds.
• Safely operating warehouse equipment and following all safety procedures.
• Loading and unloading trucks in a timely and accurate manner.
• Verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests and shipping documentation.
• Completing required paperwork and documentation in accordance with established work instructions.
• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and order pickers, as assigned.
• Employees assigned to order picker operations will work at heights of approximately 25–30 feet and must wear employer-provided fall protection equipment at all times while performing elevated tasks
