Job summary

Kraft Heinz Company is seeking a Material Handler at the Granite City, IL plant. The role starts at $23.00/hour with progression to $24.00 and $25.14 after qualification, with a temp-to-hire pathway after 600 hours.

You will stage supplies, remove recyclables, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and learn inventory systems to support secondary processes. Training includes safety and equipment sanitation.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret production schedules.
• Identify defects in raw materials and follow procedures.
• Unload raw materials using FIFO and stage materials for secondary processes.
• Operate and maintain bailers, shredders, and trash receptacles as needed.

Responsibilities

• Staging supplies for secondary operations and removing recyclables.
• Learn to drive two types of lift trucks and operate pallet jacks.
• Maintain totes and containers, and transport materials as required.
• Support inventory programs and read production schedules to prioritize tasks.
