Job summary

Kraft Heinz Company in Granite City, IL is seeking a Pouch Operator to operate pouch making equipment, perform sanitation duties, and maintain product quality. Starting rate is $23.00/hour with progression to $24.00/hour and a permanent rate around $25.63/hour, with a temp-to-hire path after 600 hours.

You will complete production reports, assist with roll changes, follow GMP/HACCP standards, and work in a fast-paced plant team to achieve low-cost, high-quality production.

• Good written and verbal communication; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate pouch making equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining quality.
• Complete production paperwork and Pouch Production Report accurately.
• Assist with roll changes, sanitation, and machine maintenance as needed.
• Report downtime and losses with detailed notes and root-cause discussions.
