Ideal Tridon in Garden Grove, CA is seeking a Material Handler / Spot Weld Pull Tester for 2nd and 3rd shifts. The role involves safely moving materials, conducting pull tests, and maintaining precise inventory records in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with metal components.

Responsibilities include operating a sit-down forklift, loading materials, processing work orders, and ensuring quality log documentation.

Formación

• Previous material handling and forklift experience required.
• Sit-down forklift certification/experience required.
• Combi lift experience preferred.
• Ability to read work orders and follow instructions.
• Manufacturing or welding environment experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Operate sit-down forklift to move material safely throughout the facility.
• Move and/or lift 20-foot welded back-to-back strut materials weighing 100+ lbs. with assistance/equipment as needed.
• Load and offload material from spot welding machines.
• Process work orders and place finished material into designated inventory locations.
• Cut strut material according to specifications and production requirements.
• Conduct spot weld pull tests and document results accurately in the quality logbook.
• Inspect materials for defects or inconsistencies and report issues to leadership.
• Maintain accurate inventory and material movement records.
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and OSHA guidelines.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Support production and warehouse operations as assigned.
