Ideal Tridon Group in Garden Grove, CA is seeking a Material Handler/Spot Weld Pull Tester for our plant. This role involves safely moving raw materials and finished products, performing spot weld pull tests, and maintaining accurate inventory records in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.

The position requires forklift operation, the ability to lift heavy materials, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous material handling and forklift experience required.
• Sit-down forklift certification/experience required.
• Combi lift experience preferred.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and handle large materials.
• Basic math and documentation skills.
• Ability to read work orders and follow instructions.
• Manufacturing or welding environment experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Proficiency using hand and power tools and manufacturing equipment.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with strong aptitude for operating machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklift to move material safely throughout the facility.
• Move and/or lift 20-foot welded back-to-back strut materials weighing 100+ lbs. with assistance/equipment as needed.
• Load and offload material from spot welding machines.
• Process work orders and place finished material into designated inventory locations.
• Cut strut material according to specifications and production requirements.
• Conduct spot weld pull tests and document results accurately in the quality logbook.
• Inspect materials for defects or inconsistencies and report issues to leadership.
• Maintain accurate inventory and material movement records.
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and OSHA guidelines.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Support production and warehouse operations as assigned.
