thyssenkrupp Materials NA is hiring for a Slitter Helper on 1st shift to support a Machine Operator. The role involves forklift-based material handling, packing orders, and maintaining safe operations on the warehouse floor. Pay ranges from $18 to $24 per hour with potential monthly gainshare up to $600.

We seek a detail-oriented, safety-conscious team player who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is capable of lifting up to 70 lbs. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs for 100 feet.
• Basic shop math skills are required.
• Previous forklift experience is required.
• Must be able to sit for long periods and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motions.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, reading and writing.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, finished products, and equipment using a forklift.
• Load and unload trucks; verify correct items loaded/unloaded.
• Pick, process and pack orders; may cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.
• Complete cycle counts and paperwork per work instructions.
• Support health, safety, ISO and 6S initiatives.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, quality-focused Operator Helper who takes pride in producing accurate work and contributing to a positive team environment. We are hiring a Slitter Helper to support our 1st shift Machine Operator. Pay $18-$20 per hour with opportunity to earn up to $600 per month gainshare bonus.

Key Accountabilities

• Accurately removes and stocks product, customer’s product, and various supplies according to inventory plan.
• Accurately selects product to fill customer orders and package them properly.
• Loads and unload trucks and verify that correct items are loaded and unloaded.
• Picking, processing and packing orders, also may be required to cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.
• Completes cycle Counts.
• Identifies, holds and segregates defective material.
• Completes paperwork per work instructions, when required.
• Performs general clean up.
• Inspects forklift at the beginning of every shift; report issues to immediate supervisor or other designated personnel.
• Participates, support and comply with all health, safety, ISO and 6S Initiatives and requirements.
• Assists in any other duties to support the operation, as requested by supervisor or team lead.
• This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.
