VORTEQ Coil Finishers, LLC is hiring a Material Handler in Valencia, PA. The role focuses on operating material handling equipment, safely moving materials, and maintaining accurate inventory using production orders and related paperwork.

You will work Monday through Saturday, 5:00am–2:00pm, and participate in safety training. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and forklift experience; driver’s license and reliable transport are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Manufacturing Experience of 1–3 years preferred.
• Standing, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs required.
• Must pass company training.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling and stocking materials.
• Pull and verify materials per production orders and complete paperwork.
• Stock, move and transport materials to storage areas with care to minimize damage.
• Verify inventory tags, labels and item counts accurately.
• Comply with safety rules and guidelines.

Job Overview

Operate all equipment safely and efficiently - following successful completion of safety and training programs. Maintain inventory accurately by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory. Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders while completing necessary paperwork and data entry.

Schedule

• Monday - Saturday 5:00am - 2:00pm

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform all duties to the safety standards established as they relate to the position
• Qualified to operate all material handling equipment efficiently as determined by successful completion of training program
• Perform daily maintenance checks of assigned equipment and operates in a manner that minimizes maintenance costs
• Stock, remove and transport materials to and from storage in all departments (raw materials, finished products, cartons, etc...) in a manner that minimizes material damage and loss
• Identify specific finished products, raw materials, etc...and maintain plant storage areas according to material location requirements
• Be aware of and employ proper stacking techniques
• Load and unload trucks, completing all necessary paperwork and data entry, and transport material to proper storage areas
• Accurately verify inventory tags, labels, product count, correct item number, etc
• Comply with all safety rules and guidelines

Qualifications

• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and lift heavy materials up to & over 50lbs
• Function successfully in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
• Contribute to team efforts by communicating and working well with others
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends
• Ability to pass company training - required
• Must have VALID driver's license and RELIABLE transportation
• Forklift experience required, preferred to be sit-down forklift experience
