Job summary

Vorteqcoil is seeking a dedicated Material Handler for the Slitter Dept. Responsible for safe operation of material handling equipment, keeping accurate inventory, and supporting production through stock movement and data entry. A reliable driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

The role requires standing and walking for long periods, with overtime and weekend hours possible. Prior forklift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing Experience 1–3 years preferred.
• Forklift experience required; sit-down forklift preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and document data entry.
• Load/unload trucks and transport materials to storage areas.
• Identify finished products and stock locations per inventory system.
• Follow safety rules and maintain housekeeping in work areas.
