Job summary

Lanco is seeking a Material Handler to support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and cycle counting in our production environment in Illinois. You will operate ERP transactions, use barcode scanners, and help maintain accurate material flow in a fast-paced factory setting.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, equipment operation (fork lift), and collaboration with other departments to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

Required: High School graduate, or equivalent. Material Handler experience.
Experience making inventory transactions through an ERP system (preferably Epicor E9) and through barcode scanner.
Desired: Vocational training in Inventory Management, Logistics or material processing.
Experience picking and issuing material to Production.

Responsibilities

Perform shipping, receiving, inventory control, and cycle counting tasks to support production schedules and customer requirements.
Complete inventory transactions such as transfers, issues, receipts using ERP and barcode scanner.
Assist with Inventory Cycle Count Program.
Comply with safety and hazardous material handling regulations, and Hazardous Waste Management.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations; assist in delivering required training at the workplace.
Communicate consistently on activities to internal and external contacts.
Maintain communication and adhere to company policies to reduce liability.
Participate in special projects or other assigned work.
