Job summary

LAPP in Florham Park, NJ is seeking a Material Handler to manage all material handling on the LCW production floor, including unloading raw materials, staging, transfers, and cycle counts to support daily operations.

Forklift operation and accurate labeling are required, with ongoing collaboration with machine operators and the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to plan receipts. Proficiency in English and basic MS Office is expected; Kaizen/5S/Lean practices should be applied.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years in material handling.
• Kaizen, 5S, and Lean methodologies experience.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Word/Excel proficiency; SAP/RF scanning a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment safely and daily.
• Maintain storage accuracy and coordinate receipts in advance with supervisor.
• Plan material needs with machine operators and Shipping & Receiving Supervisor.
• Process incoming/outgoing materials and related paperwork; label items accurately.
• Identify, store, pack, and document shipments to customers, including exports.
