Job summary

MANPOWER Group's client in Orchard Park, NY is hiring a Materials & Shipping Associate to support warehouse, inventory, shipping and receiving in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will receive, move, store and distribute materials, assist with production by picking and staging, and help maintain accurate inventory records.

Familiarity with freight carriers and ERP or inventory systems is a plus; forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, or supply chain preferred.
• Experience with freight carriers, small parcel shipping (UPS, FedEx, DHL), and local courier services.
• Forklift experience and certification preferred or ability to become certified.
• Basic computer skills and experience with ERP or inventory systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, move, store, and distribute raw materials, components, and finished goods.
• Support production by picking and staging materials for assembly and welding.
• Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory activities.
• Coordinate shipments with freight carriers and parcel services, ensuring timely delivery to customers.

Our client, a well-established industrial manufacturer, is seeking a dedicated Materials & Shipping Associate to join their team. As a Materials & Shipping Associate, you will support warehouse, inventory, shipping, and receiving operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Location: Orchard Park, NY

Pay Range: $22

Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
