Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse and distribution operations.
  • Forklift operating experience required.
  • Valid forklift certification preferred.
  • Experience with inventory management, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment and material handling procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and operating guidelines.
  • Basic computer and inventory system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments and deliveries.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move inventory throughout the facility.
  • Load and unload materials and merchandise from trucks and place them in designated storage areas.
  • Pick, pack, verify, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Transport products, materials, and inventory to assigned warehouse locations.
  • Identify and report damaged goods, inventory shortages, and quality concerns.
  • Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment activities.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, shipment documentation, and activity logs.
  • Inspect warehouse equipment and report maintenance or repair needs.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and operating guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse team members to achieve daily operational goals.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties and special projects as needed.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Position Overview:

A growing distribution and logistics company is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping, receiving, and material handling activities. This individual will play a key role in ensuring products are accurately received, stored, moved, and shipped while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced in warehouse and distribution operations. Success in this role will be measured by productivity, accuracy, safety compliance, and overall operational efficiency.
