Job summary

AAF International in Smithfield, NC is seeking a Material Handler for the second shift to pack products for safe shipping. The role requires operating a forklift, reading packaging specifications, and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must have valid North Carolina driver’s license.
• 1+ year forklift driving experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to communicate both orally and written.
• Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/16 in.
• Must be able to operate nail guns and banding equipment.
• Must be able to operate stretch wrap machine and pallet jack.

PURPOSE OF POSITION

To pack all products for safe shipping.

Material Handler - Second shift

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

• Ensure all products are packaged for safe shipping according to the rules outlined by the quality department and policy and procedure.
• Adhere to all safety regulations in forklift operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
