Job summary

AAF International in North Carolina is seeking a second shift forklift operator to pack all products for safe shipping. The role runs Monday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, with a focus on adhering to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include packaging according to policy, forklift safety, and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse. Flexibility to adapt to daily schedule changes is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Must have valid North Carolina driver's license.
• 1+ year forklift driving experience preferred.
• Must communicate both orally and written.
• Read a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
• Operate nail guns, banding equipment, stretch wrap machine and pallet jack.

PURPOSE OF POSITION

To pack all products for safe shipping.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

• Ensure all products are packaged for safe shipping according to the rules outlined by the quality department and policy and procedure.
• Adhere to all safety regulations in forklift operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

DECISIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for daily checklist on assigned forklift.
• Responsible for keeping warehouse in a clean and organized manner.
• Must be able to adapt to last-minute changes in daily work schedule.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must have valid North Carolina driver's license.
• 1+ year(s) forklift driving experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to communicate both orally and written.
• Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/16.
• Must be able to operate nail guns and banding equipment.
• Must be able to operate stretch wrap machine and pallet jack.
