Job summary

Neogen is seeking a Material Handler I to support daily warehouse operations in Lansing, MI. You will perform material movements using RF devices, verify FIFO/FEFO accuracy, and ensure inventory integrity within SAP S/4HANA EWM.

Offered shift: 2nd shift Fri-Sun 6:00pm-6:30am. This role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, teamwork, and reliable performance in a fast-paced production environment. The position requires recording movements and upholding quality standards per Neogen policies.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years in warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics preferred.
• Ability to learn SAP S/4HANA EWM and RF scanner transactions.
• Basic understanding of FIFO/FEFO inventory practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Execute departmental processes and SOPs.
• Receive, move, and track materials using RF devices with FIFO/FEFO accuracy.
• Pick materials for production and verify item, batch, and quantity.
• Identify damaged or non-conforming materials and document scrap.
• Use RF scanners, report inventory discrepancies promptly, and maintain safe storage.
