Job summary

dsm-firmenich in Somerset, NJ is seeking a Material Handler/Replenisher to support manufacturing operations. The role moves drums, totes, and pallets to production, maintains high-use raw material stations, and ensures proper inventory levels with bulk tanks and totes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years warehouse experience required.
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to handle heavy materials, including drums (up to 60 lbs).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commitment to teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Moves and stages drums, totes and pallet loads of materials to production as needed.
• Removes empty drums and totes and places them in recycling area.
• Maintains high-use raw material stations and inventory levels in bulk storage tanks.
• Refills using portable pump and coordinates with Automation Operator to stage materials for robots.
• Manages inventory in totes/day tanks and transfers materials to mezzanine area.
• Operates forklifts, hand trucks, drum lifts, elevators and uses RFK scanner.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and adheres to safety regulations.
