Job summary

L’Oréal is seeking a Material Handler I to join the Somerset, NJ warehouse. You will operate forklifts, load/unload materials, and ensure accurate shipping and receiving in a GMP-driven environment.

Responsibilities include stocking components, raw materials, and bulk to designated areas, maintaining safe work practices, and performing system transactions with RF scanners. This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1 year experience in warehouse environment with RR and RC forklift experience.
• Must have responsible work habits and have the ability to work overtime when needed.
• Hazardous waste training and other safety certifications required.
• Stand up forklift experience required.
• Experience lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
• Experience using an RF Scanner.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stack and stage product and materials using forklifts and other powered equipment.
• Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Safely operate pallet wrapping machine and other equipment per SOPs and OSHA standards.
• Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage; report variances.
• Follow cGMP, OTC and SOPs; complete system transactions accurately.
• Pull and prep materials for shipment, including securing bolts and wrapping as needed.
