Job description

Material Handler - Part Time (Warehouse like)

Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages, documents, heavyweight items, dangerous goods, and ULDs. Assists in the buildup and breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight. Acts as a liaison between the company and ULD repair vendors, as required. Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance from the ground to chest level and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
• Ability to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Ability to bend and squat during work hours.
• Ability to maneuver packages above shoulder level and in enclosed spaces, stacking packages above head if required.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions if required at the work location.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders if required.
• Successful completion of all basic and recurrent training.
• Effective communication skills in noisy environments.

Job Conditions

• Non-covered safety-sensitive position.
• Medical exam required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license to operate motorized conveyances.

Pay Transparency

This range is an estimate of the starting salary across potential locations. Actual pay depends on experience, market, location, and other factors. Eligible employees may receive additional pay, premiums, or bonuses. Benefits include health, vision, dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay Range: $19.68 - $27.21

Shift: Tuesday-Saturday 5:30am-9:30am
