Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Customer Experience: Meet customers where they are, personalize their experience, and model Customer Experience Leader behaviors to achieve store goals and KPIs. Respond promptly to customer and associate requests or feedback.
  • Store Standards: Ensure a positive shopping environment by maintaining store standards, completing daily opening/closing tasks, cleaning, recovery, and maintenance.
  • Communication & Planning: Review daily communication, plan, assign tasks, and follow through on required actions.
  • Sales & Inventory: Achieve sales goals by leveraging inventory reports, maximizing product placement, and managing audits, donations, transfers, damages, etc.
  • In-Store & Digital Services: Supervise inventory activities, manage omni-channel operations like Charge/Send and BOPIS, and communicate supply needs.
  • Customer & Team Safety: Ensure a safe environment, address concerns promptly, manage payroll and timekeeping, and provide feedback on associate performance.
  • Team Engagement: Recognize and motivate team members, support training and coaching, delegate duties, and perform other store duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent customer service with professionalism, positivity, and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under time constraints and hold team accountable.
  • Availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and outside hours as needed.
  • Proficiency with store technology (registers, devices, etc.).
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks regularly.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years management experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

This role is classified as Mid-Senior level, full-time, in the retail industry, focusing on sales and business development.
