Job Summary

Receives, stores, and distributes materials, tools, equipment, and products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Reads schedules and orders to determine items to move or distribute.
2. Conveys materials from receiving or production to storage or other areas.
3. Places materials on racks, shelves, or in refrigerated rooms based on size, type, or code.
4. Fills requisitions and distributes items to production or shipping.
5. Assembles customer orders and prepares them for shipping.
6. Marks materials with identifying information.
7. Opens containers and records received or distributed amounts.
8. Weighs or counts items to ensure standards are met.
9. Arranges stock parts for assembly.
10. Uses computer to enter records.
11. Prepares parcels for mailing and maintains inventory records.
12. Drives vehicle to transport items as needed.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
14. Ensures proper presentation and temperature control following HACCP standards.
15. Prioritizes safety and follows all company policies, including proper handling of tools and hot items.
