Position Summary: Effectively prepare materials for painting.

Essential Functions:

• Comply with safety and environmental guidelines and regulations.
• Assist in preparing materials to be processed.
• Help develop relevant processes and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Assist with material reconciliations at job closeouts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Safely operate manual handling equipment, overhead cranes, and perform tasks like sanding and paint application.

Position Qualifications:

• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Reliability, organization, ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, accuracy, and self-motivation.

Skills & Abilities: High School diploma or GED preferred.

Experience: 1-3 years relevant experience depending on the level.

Other Requirements: Ability to pass forklift training, knowledge of piping materials.

Physical Demands & Work Environment: Describes physical activities required and environmental conditions, including exposure to fumes, noise, and high places.

Additional Details: Entry level, full-time role in distribution and supply chain sectors, based in Baton Rouge, LA, with salary range $18.00-$21.00.
