Position Summary

Effectively prepare materials for painting.

Essential Functions

• Comply with safety and environmental guidelines and regulations.
• Assist in preparing materials to be processed.
• Help develop relevant processes and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Assist with material reconciliations at job closeouts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Operate manual handling equipment safely.
• Use proper stacking and pulling processes.
• Safely operate overhead cranes for handling spool piping and loading/unloading materials.
• Perform tasks such as sanding and applying paint with brushes or rollers.

Skills & Abilities

Activities involve standing, walking, manual manipulation, reaching, bending, grasping, speaking, and lifting weights up to 50 lbs. The work environment includes exposure to high places, fumes, moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather, electrical shock risks, and loud noise levels.
