POSITION SUMMARY (Paint)

Effectively prepare materials for painting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions Statement(s)

1. Comply and ensure compliance with safety and environmental guidelines and regulations.
2. Assist in the preparation of materials to be processed.
3. Assist in the development of relevant processes and procedures.
4. Assist in maintaining work area in safe and clean condition.
5. Assist with material reconciliations at job closeouts as requested.
6. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
7. Safely operate any manual handling equipment required to perform responsibilities.
8. Use proper stacking and pulling processes.
9. Safely utilize overhead cranes to handle spool piping, and to load and unload materials.
10. Ability to perform tasks such as sanding and paint application by brush or roll.

2. Material Handler II: 2-3 years of relevant experience
3. Material Handler III: 3 plus years of relevant experience

Certifications & Licenses: None specifically required.

Other Requirements: Ability to pass forklift training; Knowledge of piping materials (visual and descriptions)
